The Roadmap for Improving Seafood Ethics (RISE) provides guidance that companies may elect to­ implement in their operations and supply chains. The featured recommendations were drawn from a thorough revi­­ew of the current social responsibility landscape.

RISE guidance is based on the information and data available at the time of development. As the seafood industry gains more visibility into global supply chains, the areas of highest risk or the approaches required to address those risks may shift. It is the responsibility of all users to implement measures that are appropriate for their organizations and are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
